Always Be Prepared!

The key to being a successful Paralegal is to be prepared for anything, and you do that by being able to anticipate the needs of the case and your attorney. Sounds easy right? :) Here are some important tips to use to become the paralegal that everyone needs!

This level of experience comes with time. But it also comes by having the ability to listen and learn. If you're less experienced, soak in the environment around you: 1) Listen to colleagues as they discuss cases and strategies; 2) Take notes at meetings and then do internet research on the key words or topics that you weren't familiar with; 3) Watch webinars on legal topics; and 4) If you're lucky enough to have a seasoned, knowledgeable paralegal in your office, ask her to mentor you.
